Our question: Does President Begay help you a lot with missionary work and other things? Also, where is the other church building?
Yes President Begay does help a ton with the work.He is awesome. The other building is in Tohajiilee and the other one is in Budville.
You said you had a few investigators, are they interested in learning more? What about Jalyn?
Yes, the investigators do want to know more about the messages and agreed to have us over more. And yes Jalyn does want to know more but he lives so far away but we have had a few more and he is really interested.
You said that you feel like you have a stronger testimony. What specifically has helped you with that the most?
My testimony has been strengthened because of the Book of Mormon. Whenever I have felt homesick or like I can't do it, I read the Book of Mormon and all of the stuff I had just goes somewhere so I am pretty close to finishing it but not that close.
Can you take some pictures and send them to us?
Ya I have been taking a few pictures but on the reservation, they forbid it so kinda don't want to upset them but I have taken a few already.
Will you be getting an iPhone? I heard some missions were going to that, but I don't know if all of them are.
Yes, we will be getting a phone like in March but I don't know a whole lot about it right now.
Do you ever hear from any of your friends, either handwritten letters or emails? I think Allan Moulton might be kind of close to your mission.
I haven't got many handwritten letters but I am sending a few emails. I will write a letter to Allan today, I think the reservations are pretty close. I'll find out.
How is your companion? Is he still teaching you a lot? Are you getting along OK?
So he is pretty good. He is teaching me a ton and is good. There are some things of him that I don't agree with but I am being patient and trying to understand how everything works. I'm working with him and it's ok for now.
Do you have any plans for Thanksgiving?
We have had a ton of people ask us to dinner so we have plans for Thanksgiving for sure.
Did you get your package yet? They said it should be to the mission home around Friday the 17th.
I did not get it yet. I don't know how they get it to me, but I'm sure they will. It takes about a week I think. I'm going to send you a Christmas one, but it might be a little early cause it's packed in the Christmas season.
So what about these connections? That was cool that Marty Schapp and dad served in Florida together, and that he is good friends with the Lauridsens. And it was cool that he taught Elder Grover's mom. Elder Holmquest is friends with Mitch and Max and that Elder Grover is from St. Anthony! Wow! The picture Brother Schapp sent with the 4 of you was cool because you were all connected in some way. What is the Heather Farmer connection?
There were some people that know the Farmers down here and they asked if she went to Teton. So I said ya but she is not my age. Also those same people the guy is President Barber his companion was Mike Kunz for a little bit of his mission. That is a ton of connections and I am loving it. Before, I didn't even know where Albuquerque was.

Ok I have to tell you this story, it happened Saturday. We went to a member's house and went into their barn and lo and behold they were neutering a cat. They have a daughter that is a vet. We went in and I was helping her hold it and Elder Corn was not a fan he was kinda over in the corner watching from a distance. And the vet cut one and a little blood came out, and Elder corn looked at it and looked away and passed out!!! He smacked his head on the door and was like a ghost. So went over and helped him and I could not help but laugh. Well at first I didn't but after he was ok I did. Man it was so funny.
What do you want for your birthday? Should I send it to the mission home?
I'd like a calendar, the Kings calendar for my birthday if you can find mule deer and elk or one of the two for next year, so that could actually be for Christmas. But I don't have anything in mind but I'll email you if I do. Thanks. Yes, the mission home would work.
