Thank you for the pictures. They are awesome (pictures of Austin's cousins that are returning from and leaving on missions - we went to sacrament meeting in Utah last Sunday and took pictures after).
One thing I am craving is some cal ranch orange slices and some country time strawberry lemonade. They have none down here at all. But that's about it.
Tell Grandpa Reiley happy birthday. I hope he and grandma are both doing well.
I'm so sorry about Clyde. I have a lot of wonderful memories with Clyde. I will be sure to add their families in my prayers and this trial will only make us stronger, we will see him again and I'm sure play some nasty games of ping pong.
It sounds like Tanner and Hayden gave really good talks. I can't wait for Hayden's homecoming. I know he will be a great missionary. Yes, I remember Laurie. She did a good job on my hair, I wish she could cut it again out here on my mission!
What is your favorite Book of Mormon story as of right now? Why do you like it?
My favorite story is probably the story of Alma the Younger. I just knew the story but now I can see where it all comes from like where it all began. And because he switched it all around and did his part. That's what we can all do right now.
What is the most unique experience you had this week? In other words, what is an experience you've had this past week that is different from any other missionary?
HaHa I like this one. We had a lesson with a less active member outside. The wind was blowing, and I was sitting on a little metal crate with a pillow. Elder Corn was on a bucket. There abut 10 dogs right up in our faces the whole time. That separated me from other missionaries I think.
What about mission life are you most comfortable with?
The most comfortable part of the mission is probably the morning routine. It is pretty easy and you do it every time, just getting up, work out, shower, eat breakfast, daily planning, personal study and out the door.
What about mission life are you most uncomfortable with?
Probably the ratio rule. We keep it even though it is super awkward when we have to explain it, then its that kinda moment when, they never let you back in, or they accept it. Its hard but it is worth it.
What else do you want us to know about this last week?
We are working with a girl. We invited her to be baptized and she said yes for March 4th, so now we are pumped that we have that. It is a really different feeling for sure, but I love it.
Also, I am learning a little Navajo. We have a Book of Mormon in it and it is really cool to read it.
Thank you so much for the email. It really helps me in the week. I love all. Have a great week.
Love, Elder Reiley
