#55 October 14-20, 2018

Dear Family,

You guys had a good week; it sounds like sports always is running around with the wins and the losses but it sounds really good that everyone is having a good time.
Oh shoot!!! I forgot those answers again. I promise I have those answers to your questions written down, they are just at the apartment. I will get them to you. I forgot, so sorry.
I got the packages they are awesome, and I was super happy to see those in the mail. Thanks so much for those and tell Gary and Marlene that I got their letter too and that it means a lot to me.

Thank you for your specific prayers. I am good other than that just trying to do the best I can out here some days are harder than others but it is a work in progress.

Ok, I have a couple of questions for you. Has it snowed yet? What is the average temperature there right now? Are you all excited for the holidays coming up?

My week was kinda slow, but you get some of those weeks. Monday was a regular old p-day. I enjoy them because I need them. But it is a lot of the same thing, I'll say that.

Tuesday - we worked at the soup kitchen again. we worked outside which was brutal because it was like 40 degrees and I know that is not cold, but we were working in a freezer where it was like -10 to 10 above so that was a beast. It was so cold. Then we went to a member's house and we busted down more of his rock wall, and then on the spare times we took a stick and a little ball and played baseball, or kinda like a home run derby. It was super fun then we had a couple of really good lessons which we think we can make something out of it.

Wednesday - well, we did service again at the food bank. We did bags again, it was brutal but it is nice to do some service. Then we had a lesson with Suzie someone. She has been off and on for the past while. Then had a lesson with Roberta that was not too bad, she is coming along ok. Then we played a mean game of volleyball with the college kids. It was super fun.

Thursday - Studies then we had weekly planning then took in the rain and that felt super good. Then we had a good lesson with a investigator. She is pretty cool. We like her. Then we played basketball for a while but not a lot showed up but it was still pretty good.

Friday - we set up a bunch of chairs and stuff for the Methodist church. That was interesting. It was good to do service for them. Then we had a good lesson with Mary and Christina, they gave us McDonalds which was a score. Then we had a meeting with the Picacho ward.

Saturday - we did service at Roberta's. We took down a big floor board that had all sorts of critters and spiders and roaches and centipedes. It was nasty as heck. Then we went to a baptism. That was really good. A member that got excommunicated, so that was good to see. We had the best lunch ever. It was like a roast, but like steak. I can't tell you how good it was, I'll send you a picture. Then we had to help this lady move all of her stuff out of the u haul place and that was a beast. There were boxes and they were heavy as heck. There was 1000000 of them. And ya, she is moving up to Rexburg and thinks she can find you to just say hi. She is short and kinda crazy, so look out. :)

Sunday - we went to church. We had to teach primary that brought back some old memories like crazy, but it was super fun to see all those little rats. Dinner was with the Thatchers. They are cool, they have a daughter that is going to BYUI so who knows maybe Riley knows her. Then I had to cook some deer meat because we didn't have a dinner that night.

But ya, that was my week. There was not a whole lot into it, but still it was pretty fun to have another week. Hope you all have another good one.

Love Elder Reiley
