October 17, 2017

Hey Everyone,

Well, the MTC has been a different experience like way different. It has been a good different though. Um there is a pile of homework and things to memorize but it is all good. Elder Denfeld is really good at writing stuff down and being on top of things.

Thank you for the package. I haven't opened it yet but I will tonight with my roommates. Oh ya, roommates... I was really nervous at first, but man these guys are so great. One is named Elder White and he is from Alaska so we got some good connections there. :) The other one is from Meridian Idaho and loves to play basketball, and is super funny. It's so funny our whole district is like that. We are in the same dorm and we are all pretty close. A bunch of them are into music and drama and acting which is hard to get used to. But I think my favorite Elder is Elder Davis. He is super ripped like super. He's only like 5'8" and kinda black but not Mexican, he is really into football and basketball so we get pretty competitive but it's good. we stayed up last night till like 11:00 on his little nerf hoop in an intense game of horse so that was fun. I met an Elder from North Fremont and one from South Fremont. You're right, it is pretty cool having those connections, even if we were really competitive.

Tell everyone I am thankful for their prayers and thoughts. And we will see how the next week goes. I am doing good. It's kinda stressful but not too bad.

Oh yeah, I did get to see the dedication of the buildings here at the MTC. That was super cool actually. And tonight there is a devotional. The choir has to sing and Elder Denfeld really really likes to sing but I think me and Elder Davis are going to get out of it cause his companion is into it too.

thanks for you love and prayers and I hope that everything is going well at home. Thanks again. I love you all.

Love,
Elder Reiley

P.S. Elder Davis bench max is 520. Ya, kinda scary. Glad I'm friends with him.
