Thanks for telling us about the family mission plan for your mission. How is it working?
It seems to be going good, it's just there is not a whole lot of people out here that are interested but it works.
Did you get to watch President Monson's funeral services? If so, what did you think about it? What did you like about it, or what did you learn from President Monson?
We did get to watch only some of his funeral. We left at President Uchtdorf, but I thought it was really good. The main thing I got out was was service. For President Monson I got he would go out of his way to do service.
You said that you were learning a lot from the Book of Mormon, can you tell us a specific example of what you're learning?
I have learned a ton about the book of Mormon. One thing really is that there is something that is on every page that will help me each day, so I do a scripture of the day out of the Book of Mormon and it really does help.
It sort of looks cold there; do you need a coat or anything from home?
Naw, I don't need anything from home. I'm good out here. It's not cold at all. It's like chilly in the morning but it is not bad at all. I've got a jacket and some members gave me some super nice gloves, so I'm covered. Oh, some contact solution would be great. Thanks.
What is your best memory from this past week (if anything stands out)?
Um I am doing good nothing really too crazy jumped out. Oh, I am going on exchanges tonight on the rez, so I'm nervous but really excited. We have chopped a ton of wood it's scary. I could have easily filled one of Gary's wood trucks!
What is your worst memory from this past week (if anything stands out)?
We got circled in the parking lot by some people in a truck and they yelled out, "Go back to Utah Homes" It was stupid. We just shrugged it off and went back to work.
What else do you want to tell us about his past week?
Something that was cool was that I saw the biggest pig of my life. She weighed 887 pounds!!! It was nuts she was a monster.
I want to tell you thank you for that testimony, every time it strengthens mine. I am getting ready to bear my testimony in the Keres language. I still have a long ways to go but I'm excited. I know that being on this mission will bless my life and yours. It is preparing me for something that is going to be big, but I know that whatever it is it will work out just right. Thank you mom and dad for your prayers. They help me a ton just knowing it.
Thank you again for all you do, I love you all so much.
Love Elder Reiley
Oh - could you send me a picture of my curly hair?
