Yes, so with the water deal, our water heater went out, so we had to fix that all tin the night, and the baptism was the next day, so we just got to the church and it took like 2 hours to fill it, but we got there with like 1 hour, so we had to fill it as fast as we could.
My testimony is strengthened because of what I have seen in other people who have great lives and not great lives, and how much they react out of it all.
The best part about being on the mission is meeting people and getting a new experience.
Yes, the apartment does work now.
Monday - We went to Rio Grande and ate breakfast with other elders. They are cool. then we went and got a little ice cream and man, that was good. Then we got in like a mini basketball tournament. I won, but the elders are not that good. Then Elder Nelson had to go to the dentist, and I just was out in the lobby, athen we got a dang nice burger at a burger joint.
Tuesday - We had a lesson with a recent convert, then we did service at Sister Hens. We fixed a fence for her and then we had to trim her trees. We spent awhile there, so that was nice. We had a nice dinner with a family that had a super energetic puppy. It was pretty good, then we had basketball with Brother Waltz, and boy, I'll tell ya, I am super out of shape for sure!
Wednesday - We went to service again on the bus and we got some free stuff like clothes, and I got a few flannel shirts. Then we went on exchanges and I had another awkward dinner with a Mexican family since I can't speak Spanish. Then we taught a family and that was ok because it was English.
Thursday - We had a food bank deal where we had a little meat I had to deal out. So that was pretty good. Then we went to Laguna burger, and yikes, that was good. Then we went to another dinner with Heather at Panera. I got a grilled cheese it was not too bad, then we came back and then cleaned.
Friday - I was zone conference today. It was not too bad. I must have eaten something a little bad, so I was kinda fighting that for the day.
Saturday - Well, we had a hockey game with the ward. It was kinda hard to play but at the same time it was kinda fun. Then we went to Rio Grande with the elders for dinner. The Paddock family, they are super cool and really down to earth and we laughed a lot.
But my week was not too eventful. I know I have been in kinda a slump for a little bit, but I hope that it gets out and I can move on. The area is kinda hard just because we are in the city and it is really hard for me to learn, but I'll get it eventually.
Will you send me some country time strawberry lemonade in the package you send me? I can't find that anywhere down here. I love you and I hope you have another great week.
Elder Reiley
