#19 February 11-17, 2018

Dear Family,

Thanks for the birthday presents and the nice note. Can I handle the hot stuff?
I sure can't handle it but you know me, I'm pretty sure that you can. They cook the deer with it all in there. They just cut it all up and throw it all in a stew. Heck, it's not bad at all, but ya, they threw it all in.

We watched your last shot (throw to the end of the court - a bit spiteful I think) of your high school career and it was awesome again... you even got a standing ovation from the SF bench and the crowd - I'm not sure about it, but hey, it was actually pretty good.
Oh man, that was so funny. I'd love to show that to President Guffey. I wonder if you can video that and get it to me?

We wrapped up basketball season and are moving on to baseball.
That is so cool. Man, that sounds like a great year of basketball, really, that is so cool. I'm sure Blake will do awesome and Christian too in baseball.

Saturday we went to Logan and watched a Utah State baseball game, basketball game, and hockey game. It was nice and warm all day but then we had to stay in IF on the way back home because the wind was blowing so hard and the roads were bad.
It sounds like a heck of an awesome time. I can't believe that you all went to all those games. How was hockey? "the weather ppppbbbbpb, very peculiar, don't you think?" That was from the Lion King, in case you didn't know. But that sounds like an awesome day.

Are you still not getting sick?
I'm still doing great. Elder Corn is getting sick. He has got to wear one of those mask deals.

Do you have a zone conference coming up?
We have one coming up tomorrow with President Neilson. We hope that it will be good.

What did you learn at church today?
Church was really good. We had visitors in both branches and they gave great talks. They were both about being just like Jesus, so that is what I am going to work on is just being more like Christ. And for this conference we will be studying on the Bednar talk of when the guy goes to cut wood and his truck gets stuck, so he puts his load of wood in and gets out. So I am really excited for that.

How was your basketball game with the other zone last Monday?
Oh man, we played Trash ball. It is just the same as Bronco ball and man, we whooped them like they were standing still. It was super fun and a little competitive so that was good to have a little of that in the week.

What was good about this week?
We shared some powerful lessons. Sister Apache is awesome, she is a less active member; she is so cool. She is an extreme cowgirl, so we feed her horses and stuff. We shared a really good lesson with her that will hopefully inspire her to come to church.

What didn't you love about this week?
Well, we did not get to spend a lot of time in our area in Tohajiilee, but that's ok, we will make up for it this week.

Did you get your package?
They say I'll get it tomorrow. I'll send something for Carson's birthday too.

What else do you want to tell us about this week?
I figured out that we are hopefully going to be branding cows, so man I have all my fingers crossed! Just keep on doing what you are doing. You ARE ALL THE BEST. Remember we have to taste a little of what our Savior tasted while he was in the garden. Because salvation is not a cheap experience. (That's from Elder Holland, I can't believe I forgot to say his name.)

And keep sending pictures - just no hunting or fishing ones;)

I love you all so much.
Love, Elder Reiley

Chopping Wood

From Austin: A fossil... can you see what it is? It’s cool. See if you can tell what it is and let me know.
