And the basketball, that's pretty good at least Sugar didn't get that one. Man, you have no idea how much I miss that snow. It's so hot here I hardly ever wear a sweater. Too bad you got stuck. What is a Gatling gun? Why did President Barber get one?
Ok, the Gatling gun, that is the big ol gun off of Rooster Cogburn, where he cranks the lever and all the bullets come flying out, dad will know what it is too. He just got one because he is old and crazy and a guy. Who doesn't want a Gatling gun in their house? HaHa. He is a dinger.
Is the weather hot? It looked like there was a fire warning and windy.
Oh it is so hot down here, and it is March. Holy cow, I wonder what summer is going to feel like. Buy ya, I've been roasting.
Did you have any interesting food this week?
Well, not really interesting food but we went with one of my favorite people out here who is a less active named Anthony Peters. We bucked hay at his house for a long time and it felt super good. Then he took us out to lunch at the big casino, the Hungry Cowboy buffet. That place was so dang good. When I come back when I get off my mission we will have lunch there. But ya, that was a pretty cool thing.
Are you getting smart phones soon?
Yep, they say we are getting phones this month. I am not looking forward to that. I like to not have any technology out here, but now they're starting it up. YIKES!
Are you excited/nervous about your new companion?
Well, I"m really nervous but also excited. I just hope we become friends cause I get this companion longer than the rest cause it is longer to get to know the reservation. But I hear he has been out 5 months and is really opinionated, so I guess we will see how that goes. But I have been praying a ton about this, and I hope it all goes well.
What are you looking forward to (weekly question!)
I'm looking forward to seeing all the new companions, and ya, I hope that they will all be good. I still got Elder Holmquist, so that's helpful.
What else do you want to tell us about your week?
Well, this week has been kinda a load on me. I AM A DISTRICT LEADER NOW. I am taking over the rez and helping President Carrol with Tohajiilee. Man It is a pile, but I hope it will all go ok.
