#35 June 3-9, 2018

Dear Family,

It sounds like you all are getting some good stuff back home. The lake doesn't  sound too good; I hope they can get fish back in maybe 2 years or something around there. The family history about great grandpa Reiley sounds like me and Ginger.

What is at least one thing you have learned this past week?
One thing I learned was that trials are supposed to come. Just like eating an drinking, you have to go through them. All it is is just making you better.

What is one struggle that you have and what are you doing to overcome it?
One thing that is hard is the phones. Wow, I hate those stinking things. It is like they are being forced to put your nose in the phone like the rest of the world. I am getting over it by only being on it when I really have to.

What is one awesome thing about Budville/Laguna?
One awesome thing about Laguna is that almost everyone knows us because of us branding cows. The word has gotten out about 2 kids that do that kind of work for the heck of it just to hep people and it has made a heck of a difference in the pueblo.

What is one thing you like about Elder Smithson?
He is pretty funny, so he will just do stuff that is funny.

You like Alma Chapter 32 recently about faith... how have you used faith this past week?
I have used faith by really having faith that He is going to help me with the phone. I am the worst one in the mission and everyone tries to help me but I really just have One that talks English about stuff in a way that I am going to understand.

What do you want to tell us about your week?
Ok, this week was pretty good.
Monday: we went to the trampoline place and I thought it was fun. I have learned to do a lot of stuff on the tramps, so that was fun.

Tuesday: this was zone conference. We got the phones and I was left in the dust kinda, but I have sorta gotten caught up. Oh, and this day, Anthony Peters got me and Elder Smithson a suit. I told him no, I don't want one or need one, they are to pricey, but he was like, no I am getting you one whether you like it or not, and I couldn't believe that he would do that. He is someone that I look up to very much.

Wednesday: we had some more service at a lay's house where we cleaned her yard in the 10000000 degree heat, so that was kinda brutal.

Thursday: we had to do our weekly planning. It takes about 3 hours in general, but with the new phones, we took forever. We were at the trailer for almost all day. I hated it so much. But we did get to go out for our morning workout to go run the river that was all dried up like canyon. It was really cool there.

Friday: we stayed out in Laguna and we had a good time. We went by a lot of people that we have not been by in awhile and we met with them and finally got to share some lessons. Oh ya, and we helped a lady with her flat tire and we couldn't get the jack under cause it was too bit, so I had to lift up the front part of the car so he could get the jack in. That thing was heavy, it was just like the Honda we had like one of first cars.

Saturday: we came in for stake conference. It was a good meeting other than the fact that we sat right tin the front and of course I had to get called out by a guy from the Seventy. His name was Elder Wilson. and the other guy was elder Douglass, so it was a little awkward but it was not bad or anything.

Sunday: we had conference again and the stake presidency got changed and you will never guess who is the new guy... President Schaap!, Ya, he gave a talk on climbing the Tetons, and he kept looking at me so I was really pumped about that. (He is the one that Austin met at the first of his mission that was a companion to Jeff on his mission in Florida - pretty cool connection)

Also, we got facebook but I don't know if you can find me, but my deal is just Austin Reiley. Not too hard.

So that is my week. I had a pretty good week. I hope this next one goes good too.

Love you all so much. Have an awesome week.

Elder Reiley
