#91 June 23-29, 2019

Dear Family,

How do the Klingler's know Bryce?
So I don't know how he knows him but his name is Chris and hers is Megan so that's about all I got for ya there.

What is the best thing about being a missionary?
Well one of the best things about being a missionary is that you meet a ton of people and you get to share the gospel with the great and the worst so it really expands your comfort zone that is for sure!!

What is a hard thing about being a missionary?
One of the hardest things would be that you just get walluped by people no matter what you're doing and if you get enough of it in a day it kills your motivation pretty quick.

What is a good way to gain or strengthen a testimony?
To gain a dang tough testimony is to have someone tell you that you don't have one or its weak and you'll strengthen the heck out of it and no one can tell you otherwise.

Was it cool to see the Hansen's? and did you get the package?
Ya it was really nice to see that for sure and yes the stuff you sent me was perfect I loved it a lot thanks so much for that.

Dang it does sound like everyone had a great week man Doug is back; he went out the same time as President Guffey did because he just went home too. That's cool. Man keep Molly around long enough for me to at least let me see her! Good grief!! And Carson's 7 on 7 thing sounds good. That's really awesome they had a good time doing that! Wow I wish it was 75 here. It's been in the 90's every day one day it hit 104 and I just about cried!! But I'm glad that you had a great week.

My week:
Monday well I played basketball. It was good. ;), then we had a good dinner at Freddy's this is one place that has fry sauce so that's nice. Haha we had a pretty good time.

Tues. Well today we got to do a lot of contacting, not a lot of luck but it was still pretty good. Had a good lesson and then we went to the park and talked to a few people. Had some dinner and did some finding.

Wed. Man today was kinda a brutal day we had a lesson with the Swahili people they are as black as night, then we got to visit a couple of people and over all it was not too bad. Then we had some dinner and found a couple of less actives.

Thurs. We had service at a food bank. That was easy if you picture the Duck Dynasty warehouse; that's what it is like. Then we planned for the week and we then got to have dinner with Sister Begay; she is hard core Navajo and she is funny, we had a pretty good dinner. Then we had to go to a meeting with our ward mission leader so it a good evening.

Fri. So we rode our bikes to do service for a guy that needed some service. We ended up digging out this monster root; it was a beast! We ended up getting a sawzall and went to town on that sucker it was great to get a little labor out of it!!! Then went to a brutal meeting, man those are rough. But we had a great lesson with Grace and we then had dinner at like 4 with the power out so that was brutal. When the A C is not on we cook no matter where we are. Then we went to an apartment complex and worked around there for a while and they can put a pile of people in those dang things.

Sat. Boy today felt super good because we got called to do a little service and we were there all day cleaning out a back yard. Man we loaded a dump truck full of trash and I loved it. I haven't done service like that in a while. During the day we were putting a tarp over the truck and he ate it out of the truck like none other.  He ended up being OK just going to be really sore. But That was kinda cool. Then we went to dinner and I ate some dang hot chili and it hit me -  holy cow it was rough. I don't know how people like that stuff!!!!

Sun. We had regular church but after we ate dinner at the new president's house. That was nice because he is a big time cowboy and we got along great and had an awesome dinner. Then he came out with us tracting and the first door we knocked on the guy had a seizure right at the door step. Man, it was a little interesting that's for sure, but we just kinda helped him out the best we could and that was a great deal to take the president out after being out for 2 days so that was nice. :) Then we wrapped up the evening with him so it was pretty good.

But that is my week so I can't complain hope this next one is a good one for you all. Happy 4th of July!
