Thanks for the update on the week man that is awesome. Man it sounds like home is doing pretty good! fishing and weights I wonder what dad can put up now?? man that is super cool.
When did you recognize the Holy Ghost this week?
I recognized it when there was a lady at church that was bawling in the middle of a dead part of church and it was because she felt the spirit. You can feel it anytime.
What part of Preach My Gospel has helped you the most?
Preach my Gospel has helped a lot- section 1 what is my purpose as a missionary. It has helped me because you can read it so many times and just never really get it all.
How do you stay motivated to keep working hard?
I tell myself its only for like 50 days left then it is all over you never get it again even if you make it to the celestial kingdom you never serve a mission like this again.
Dang thanks for this week it was really good I loved hearing how it all went! Sounds pretty good back home!
My week.
Mon, me and Elder Tanner went to a place called old town, there is a lot of cool stuff they have there, so we looked around for a bit and it was really kinda cool to look it over again. then we were going to go to a racing museum but it was like 15 bucks to get in so we just called it! went to the church and relaxed. then our dinner canceled and we ate at lota burger so it was not to bad.
Tues. well this day we tried to switch up the finding so we went to a couple stores and talked to people in there some yes most no but it was a little different so that was nice. Then our dinner canceled again and we went on splits so it was a little brutal having dinner at 9 but we just ate at our place.
Wed. we tried to go by a lot of people that we haven't been by in a while and that did not go the best we just kinda had a couple of times were we had to run back to the truck;). But it was kinda fun, we did this most of the day and then right before we were going to have dinner they called us and had to go out of town so we treated ourselves to a little Crackerbarrel and a good game of checkers.
Thurs I went on exchanges to Bernalillo and it was not too bad we just did some service tracting and we found a couple of people to help out. No horse shoeing or anything but we got to pull a few weeds in 102 weather so you take what you can as a missionary! Then we ate dinner and had to go to a couple of meetings ya those are getting old. But it was good.
fri. We had our district council, that was the same deal. ate lunch and we then went to do a few stop byes and get this... another dinner canceled ha I think we are setting a record!! so we called a member and they made like waffles or something so it was a little different but boy we are making it work!!
Sat. we went to service for the sisters and we picked chilis - ya typical New Mexico but we then, did some more weeding and then had to get a little McDonalds for the way out;) we did our best to find some people it is very slow very very slow. But our dinner actually pulled through, and they are not even in our ward!! it was awesome they are a couple that I met and became really good friends with on the reservation. They took us out then we went to their place and bucked some hay for them so that alone was enough to make up the week! I enjoyed that a lot!
Sun. today we had a couple people come to church and really felt the spirit and then asked us a ton of questions about the gospel and turns out they don't live in our area so we are like come on!!! We were so close! But it was still nice to get that. Then we had a lunch with a family and then we had another dinner cancel on us so dang we took a fat loss on dinners this week!!
But that wraps up my week that I had... it was not to bad. I hope that yall have another good one here coming up!!
