#24 -Austin - March 18-24, 2018

Dear Family,

It sounds like a really good week for everyone. It is pretty good that you can get out of school and go ice fishing, so its a dang good week! It's good to hear that everyone is still doing good.

Ok that is one of the coolest family history stories I have ever heard. I love ol' Butch Cassidy and that is such an awesome story, so thanks a ton for that.

What are doing to get ready for general conference? Will you go to a member's house for conference, or the church or what?

To get ready for gen conf I am getting some questions I have for the mission and just hopefully I can find something that is going to kinda give me an extra boost. We have it planned as of now to go to a member's house for the first part then watch it at the church for the other parts of it.

What did you learn at church today?

I really learned that know matter who comes to church member or not we need to make them feel welcomed, big time. If they look bad and smell bad, at leas they are trying to get on the right path by coming to church, so really just inviting them and making them feel welcomed.

What are your feelings about the temple? You get to go today, right?

The ABQ temple is really a good spot to be. I love it there and really as a missionary, there is definitely a different feeling there when you get that. It was a really cool experience for me and for the first time in there I loved it.

What other service do you do for the people... besides chop wood?

Oh man, we have done so much service for people it would scare you to death. We cleaned a garage, took a pile of stuff to the dump. Then we built a ton of stuff for Alva like a chicken coop and a stand that she can sell stuff out of. I worked this week on building a fence,  like a whole fence, that was my favorite. We work on trucks and cars, you name it and we do it kind of thing.

Have you watched Because of Him, the Easter video that the church puts out? Do the Indians where you are celebrate Easter?

I have not watched it yet but I will look for it today and tell you what I think of it. From what I have seen, I don't think they celebrate it but they treat it as an important day that is for sure.

What is something you have learned from the Book of Mormon? (I know you have answered this before in other letters, but I'm pretty sure you keep learning things about the Book of Mormon).

I really have realized that if someone is ready to hear about the gospel, JUMP ON IT! Don't wait, just do it right there and it all works out, like Ammon. He converted a whole nation basically because they were ready to receive it.

Is there anything that we can do for you?

Just really keep me in your prayers. I don't know why but it has just been an up and down week. I'm still doing good, but it really just feels like it is never going to be over. But it is all good.

I'm getting a package ready to send, do you want or need anything?

Could you send me my letherman pliers the one with the Browning sign on it? Oh, and a picture of the 18 pound fish I caught. If you could send those that would be fantastic. Ya, I think Taylor would like something you could send her for her baptism. Oh and I got the letter and money from grandpa and grandma Reiley, tell them thanks and that really meant a lot. I'm good. Thank you so much mom you are the best really, thank you for bringing me up the way you and dad did.

What else do you want to tell us about your week?

We have been doing a ton of service this week. Taylor is getting baptized on Saturday and she asked me to baptize her, so I am really nervous, but also excited about it too.

I have had a pretty great week. Just keep me in your prayers and I'll bust through another week. I love you all so much. Have a great week family.

Love, Elder Reiley
